What is "Looking up"

I was chatting to a writing mentor who made a passing comment about how lucky I am to live in London, a city where there is so much writing inspiration to be found. This made me think how rarely people truly see what is going on around them in a city like London. Heads are in phones, ears are shielded by headphones, and little by little we have cut off our senses from what is going on around us.

This blog, "Looking up" is a way of challenging myself to find inspiration for writing short stories, to be posted on this blog, by what I see around me day to day, here in London. I hope you enjoy what you read.
